At MAC I think it's around $70 bucks but with a club going they might do a discount to make it slightly cheaper

Has MSP done anything about this? Any updates??

MAC wont let you do any tuning on a dyno day, theyre not the fastest at getting cars on and off that dyno...MAYBE if you made special arrangements for afterwards I could see it happening

I would have to go last and maybe work something out with the shop. I know at least my ebc will need to setup, I would need a minimum of 5-6 pulls. Damn my car is a diva haha

GReddy ProFec E-01. It has an auto learn feature I tried last night but it doesn't work that well and makes it feel slow to spool.

Right now my issue is I hit the boost I want (13.5psi but I'm working up to 14.5psi), hold it for 1,500 rpm or so, then boost falls on it's face down to 6.5psi, then it soars back up to 13.5. It feels odd and brutal. I know it's the ebc causing it because the solenoid duty cycle falls off hard when the boost is falling so it's just a matter or getting the duty cycle where I want it.

It's just rather difficult to tune it on the street since I like to do 3rd or 4th gear pulls to avoid tire spin but it means a minimum of 80-90mph! And it's hard to watch stuff and keep the car straight...LOL that's why the dyno is ideal

Which one do you have now? And does it control your boost spikes? I've been eyeing the HKS EVC-6 or Turbosmart EBoost2...

i have the eboost-2, it is pimp shit brotha... you can create boost tables for each gear, boost tables based by rpm's, and sensitivity setting is awesome..you can control when the wastegate opens, and how fast.. you can even compensate for boost loss at higher rpms.. and I hold 20lbs flatlined all the way to redline

Damn that sounds sick....Here I go spending more money haha, the girlfriend will be happy

How hard is the user interface since it doesn't have that big of a screen? And does it have a scramble boost setting or anything?

Just basically lets you run higher boost for a preset amount of time. I'm only interested in it because I don't really want to drive around at 16psi all day but when a nasty Evo, STi, GTO, or Corvette gives me the look I can easily run more boost and spank them :)

I could sell my E-01 and my AEM boost gauge and almost have enough cash for this...hmmm

Plus is can control my water meth setup? This is getting sicker and sicker

oh absolutely, it has 6 boost profiles that can be changed at the push of a button, AND it always defaults to preset 1 when the car is started.. so, I leave that one at wastegate pressure only for the wife ;) 12psi, wastegate opening at 1psi.. setting 2 is 16 psi with wastegate opening at 4psi, setting 3 is 20psi with wastegate opening at 11psi.. you get the idea..

and yes, it controls an alternative fuel source.. ;)

Alright, thanks man. I've been eyeing this ebc since I got my turbo but the E-01 came with it (used kit) and honestly when I was happy with lower boost it worked fine...now it just don't like handling higher boost. Well it works good it's just the dips are odd and I'm having a hard time tuning them out

The only think I don't like about it is it's size (66mm, hard to mount) and the fact I have to run a vacuum hose into the cabin...the E-01 has a remote pressure sensor so that's nice.
