Damn you Chris I say take the Saleen that thing is sick. I will try and stop by and say hi.
I will be there, but not in my Mazda. Look for me in a Ford GT or a Lamborghini, I haven't decided yet. It will probably depend on which is cleanest when I get ready to go.[/b]

That was fun today....for the half hour that I was there. Some nice cars were there. Sucks for all of you who decided to stay in tonight. I believe Lee has some Pics he'll post up later on. Wish I was able to be there the whole day instead of drop the car off and take it away.
I also wish I had the time to clean and vaccum the interior.
that sucked big time. Oh and clean the outside.
We have to get the word out for CMZC's Show in Sept. If we get 1/4 of the people, even 1/8, out to our show I would call that a success.
And for those of you who went...if you saw that orange '99 Vette with the Lambo doors. That is Dean's, the owner of Deans Autobody (Deans KustomKandy's). He's the one that's done all my body work and paint. He got first in his class and one of his customers also placed first. He had an 07 Mustang that was there. Don't remember the color.

I couldn't believe the number of cars that didn't really clean up. I'm not talking about yours, I saw yours and it looked good. My son actually pointed it out before I saw it and asked what kind of car it was. Must have caught his eye. But there were a ton of cars there that seemed like the owners didn't care to even clean up. Dirty interiors, dirtier engines. Us young guys can sure take a lesson in showing cars from the old classic and street rod guys. Talk about shining ever last bolt.

That sounds exactly like mine you speak of. There's alot of stuff that neede to be done. My interior was filty, water spots everywhere, my rear bumper needs a little some touch up from the curb rash I got this winter. Little hail damage. Just little stuff.
I didn't really have much time to chek out all the cars but those classics were way lean. 99% of it is cause they don't drive the car all the time like we do. My brothers classics are just like that but then you look at his DD and man it'd suck to get ready for a carshow. So in a way they have it easy. It's already pretty much clean. Not much to clean on the inside. A quick wipe down, Wax, and power wash the engine and they are good to go.
