That said, if someone is getting $250 of items for $25, it's obviously marked up quite healthily to start with, eh?
This. King Soopers and Safeway are almost identical on prices for everything we buy. One will usually be having a sale on something one week while the other is having a sale on something else and then they switch. We go to whichever one is having the sale on what we need at the time. And that's only if we're just not in the mood to deal with Wal-Mart, which is much cheaper than both of them. Or we need produce or steaks, because we won't buy either from Wal-Mart.
And christi, you say you don't understand why customer service people are rude, even when you're nice to them, but in your own post you said your dad was "raising hell" over some sale that happened weeks ago that he was now demanding a refund for without even having your membership card with him. THAT's why customer service people get rude, because they deal with customers like that day in and day out. Customers expect you to just bend over and take it while they rip you a new one and there's only so much you can take and still keep a smile on your face. If you don't realize that, then I'm guessing you've never worked in customer service. It sucks. Really bad. Like unbelievably bad. The customer is never happy no matter what you do and you get shit on all day every day.
There, that's my rant about something that grinds my gears after many years working in customer service, lol. Thankfully, I'm at a point where I hopefully won't ever have to do it again. But I try my best to be patient with customer service people because I know you have some bad days after some idiot just chewed you out for something that wasn't your fault or that you had no control over. It's the same reason I tip well at restaurants. I've been there, dependent on tips. I know how hard it is, so I try to give back when I can. I don't always keep my temper in check when dealing with a customer service rep, but I make an effort not to yell at them if I can help it unless they really are being rude.
For the record, following store policy and not just caving to your every demand should not be construed as being rude.

, time for updates right? no big deal, except after updates the space it's taking up is 15GB... why windows why?
