If it's on the firewall, it's covered by material. I searched mine pretty extensively and could not find it.

OK so I found online that ALL Mazdas have their VIN on the Drivers side under the windsheild. You can see it there.

If you open your owners manual and look in the index for "vehicle information lables" it will take you to the page you need.

There it has pictures where all the lables are. The one on the Firewall is called the Chassis Number and the one on the engin is the Engine Number.

I'm heading out to see if the Number on the Firewall is the same as the VIN in the Windsheild.

Hope this helps.

Ok the number on the Firewall is the VIN number aswell. The RX-8 has the firewall material cut out around it. So Good luck to you.

I hope you find it dude! And Jimmy we know its on the dash, but like chicken said, the viewing window is in a different spot for regular 6's than speeds, so if the window was changed ur f'd and can't see it. But the firewall thing sounds right...I'll have to look when I get home today.

I know we know that LOL. Just pointing out that I couldn't find anything specific for MazdaSpeeds that it's not there. All I kept finding was All Models of Mazdas have the VIN in the same location on the Dash. But IDK. Can't always trus the interwebs.

Page 341. Looks like there isn't one on the engine block.

It should be on just about every panel in the car.
