New to the forum, not mazda's or colorado though

Postby Chance » Wed Feb 10, 2010 9:14

My name is Chance and I just tonight did a google search for colorado mazda's......not sure why I didnt do this before haha.

Soooo basically, I have worked on a variety of cars and have plenty of experience working on them whether it be paint and body, fiberglass work, exhaust work, turbo systems, fuel systems, etc.

I have always been into RX7's, I have owned 4 so far, working on a deal for another FD RX7 as a sort of claim to fame of my talents, but we will see how things go.

Let me know when you are ready, I have everything lined up for whatever anyone needs sprayed, only thing I ask is that I can color match to YOUR car before anything is final sprayed. I have color matched gas door lids and mirrors and such before and it turned out that it was a different color than the car so I don't do that anymore.

Also, color code is required previous to any drop off.

I owned a black 98 FD that got stolen, so unless yours is rhd and totally bent, probably not haha

I thought I had pictures of all of my old cars however I cannot find any of them now. All I have now are of my current ones.

I have owned a
black 88 TII
black 98
blue 86 n/a-t
and red-now pearl white 90 TII

I can't see the pics at work but that's a nice list! I have an 87 TII and 84 base model (I don't remember the term, GSL or something?) at home in Illinois too.

Did you have the 98 over here? Did you bring it back from Japan or buy it here?

I picked it up in British Columbia, I traded a guy my supra for it.

I will say that any chance I get to drive a rhd car, I want to convert all of mine haha

Oh gotcha. How did you register it here?

I was in Okinawa for 3 years so I got to drive a few RHD cars, too bad none of them were an FD haha. Over there I had a Mazda Persona (4 door family car), and a Nissan Silvia S13. I bought an FC there too but I never got to drive it cause it was junk haha.

That's a mean looking FC you got there, and one hell of a deep steering wheel lol.

I never did get it registered, it was meant to be a track car that I would drive to meets or whatever when I felt like it. I had an american title for another car that I had the dash out of so vin check was....passable to say the least.

I currently have the white car stripped down right now. I am redoing the cage and stand alone/wiring for this coming season, hopefully it will be ready to rock in April, but in the mean time my blue car will have to be fun filler.
