I like these. They look similar to the Mazdaspeed wheels, but they have a polished lip. I'd prefer just a solid 1 color wheel. These are Rays G-Games Barracudas. Image.

I also like these (but in gunmetal). These are Works Emotion CR Kai

Who likes what? Yes, I know the standard RX-8 wheels are nice too, but I'm thinking of lightening the load at the corners. Another thing to consider, the Rays are 19", the Works are 18".

I like the Works better- that's because I HATE wheels with a shiny polished lip. I just hate that look.

The RX-8 wheels may be nice, but as we all know, adding a set of "custom" wheels is the best way to really personalize your car and make it uniquely yours.

Have you looked into tire prices? There might be quite the spread for 18" vs 19". Just something to consider.

I'm not a fan of the polished lip either. And..I'm hoping to stay at 18"s, to be honest. If anyone has some other ideas, let me know. I'm not into chrome/big wheels, anything like that.

I like the shape of the Rays better but I think 19s are too large.

I like the looks of them too. Mazda's less expensive MS wheels are still almost $500 a pop, and they have a polished lip. Their other wheels that are the same shape are magnesium and $1400 each. No polished lip. Don't think I'll be shelling out $6k for wheels. They're stock size too, so no wider footprint, either.

These are the Work wheels (although in 17") on a red 8.

Yeah, that's because the Work wheels look similar to the Enkei RSVs that you've been drooling over.

And BTW, mine are tucked safely in the basement until spring.

Well, the OEM wheels are definitely being retired this spring. I've pretty much ruled out the Rays at this point, as I don't like the polished lip. I'm still searching though. The Work wheels might be a little heavier than I want as well. So the search continues.

I just don't like polished lips on painted wheels.

I think on your car, the bronz will look less (pop-ie) and more dirty. Gunmetal would look killer.
