Brit, talk to Gary at Lakewood of Mazda. He took very good care of Lucky when she was in the shop.

Well this weekend my friend and I took out the alternator and got it checked. That's not the problem then he thought it was the fuel pump instead cause the fuel pump doesn't power on so we were about the change that but decided to check the plugs to see if they were getting power and the plug that connected into the fuel harness has power but the plug that's inside the harness that actually connects to the fuel pump isn't getting power. Could I just have to replace the harness or some guy said it could be a bad sensor like the camshaft one or the crank sensor. Anyone else have any ideas? It looks like it will be going to a shop today

Did you check the engine fuse? The previous owner might have put in the wrong amp fuse > that eventually caused it to blow > causing the alternator to run off the battery, eventually killing it. Just a thought :)
