OOOO very nice! I like it!! It kind of reminds me of an S2000 as far as size and shape goes.

Doesn't really make much sense from a business standpoint. A mini-version of what's already a niche car in the Miata? I didn't really think the Miata was a big car to start with!

Looks nice, though.

Holy crap. How can you get smaller than the Miata. Engine Bay+Seat= MX-2

I like it! I bet it will be amazing to drive. Kind of reminds me of a Z4 from the side, though.

if they stopped making cars bigger with each generation they wouldn't need to introduce "smaller versions"

The Miata actually hasn't grown much in terms of size, actually. Maybe 2" in overall length, and inch or so in width. Surprisingly enough, it hasn't added much in weight either (considering all of the safety equipment required). The original Miata was around 2100/2200 lbs, and the 2009 is around 2400/2500.

The proposed MX2 would actually be smaller than the original Miata.
