Brake Rotor Question
Brake Rotor Question
So I recently installed the F2 Drilled & Slotted rotors on my 6. I just washed my car but the rotors have that rust stuff on them since they were wet. On stock blank rotors the film gets shaved off once you apply the brakes. It won't come off where the drills and slots are. My question is there something I can spray on them to get them to be shiny? Is there anything I CAN do? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not much you can do about the rust really. I think it has more to do with the quality of the iron used in the rotors. I've had some rotors stay clean for many thousands of miles and others get rusty immediately.

I've painted some in the past. I wouldn't exactly say I do it in my spare time but I do have experience in doing it.

Ok. Guess I'll just have to deal with it then. It's not too bad, just somewhat annoying.

Hello John....long time! I can offer no advice regarding the brakes.
I know, it's been a while. The BC Racing coilovers are going to be installed here pretty soon. I'll let ya know how they are. Should make a world of a difference, seeing as to the stock suspension is horrible on our 6's.
