Install help request

Postby Rich » Fri Oct 10, 2008 9:14

Hey everyone. I'm looking for some install help this coming weekend, Friday Saturday or Sunday. I've got a Corksport Downpipe, AVElectronic Nav interface, and hood quicklift kit that need to go in before the winter hits. I'm offering beer, pizza, and good tunes at my place in Aurora to anyone willing to help. There's also a PS3 available for breaks if needed :) I have many tools, but not some of the specialty stuff that may be needed. I'll be prepared with PB Blaster, jack, jackstands, and maybe a creeper. Any time I can get for help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What time? I "might" be able to help if it's in the evening like at Patrick's. If it's Friday, I can help during the day but need to be done by 3ish.

My request was for this coming weekend :) I'm giving everyone a week notice. DP isn't scheduled to arrive until Monday, and the hood dampers didn't come with all the hardware I need.

I may be able to help, but more than likely, Id have to stay up here in Colorado, rather than go to MExico, where you live....let me know

Hey Rich, I may be available to help if it is Sunday next week. I don't have a o2 socket set but it is needed from posts I have read.......as per firestoned. Sure you don't want to finish the whole thing up with a Cp-e daul exhaust...........make you a good deal. J/k(or am I...) Still been putting off posting it on the wider spread forums hoping the wife will forget. Le tme know what day you decide.....Greg

Well heck, if it's this coming weekend, I should be able to make at least one day! What are your planned hours each day?

I'm pretty much open all weekend. I'm thinking Saturday or Sunday works best, leaning towards Sunday. I'm guessing it'll just be downpipe and Nav Interface, downpipe first.
Eric, with your experience I would really like to see you here. The drive isn't bad with 270 to 70 :)
Greg, as for the cat-back, it's not in the funds, and frankly I'm looking forward to a little back pressure from the Magnaflow 2.5 catback I already have.

I appreciate all the offers and will keep everyone updated as to exact date/times.

Looks like I'll be in Breckenridge Friday night getting schmammered, Saturday recovering, which leaves Sunday for working on the car. I understand previous plans.
