Postby firestoned » Mon Oct 06, 2008 9:14

I called Mazda today to see how much a workshop manual is for my car, and HOLY SH%T, its $260!!... so I did some searching, and found this website:

www.alldatadiy.com

Has anybody ever used this site? Im interested in signing up for a year and see how it is.. Any input?

While I have no experience, I've heard of good things about it.

Eric you could try and see if a dealer like Sill-Terhar or Burt or any of them would loan you the book for a day or so. I know of one member who borrowed the RX-8 book from Burt for a few days. So maybe they would be willing since you are part of the club. Just a thought if the website isn't much help.

What years are available? Yes, I'm too lazy to look. If 2006 is available, what changed between 2006 and 2007 in the areas you are looking to work?

Check ebay for those workshop manuals. I've bought a few sets there over the years.

Worst case, Finish Line Performance has them on their site for $140.

There are some changes with the motor between 2006-2007, but after thinking about it, I would honestly feel more comfortable buying the manual, just so I have it to always reference....especially since the warranty is about to be gone...I will definitely check ebay, thanks
