Well I do and it was great. Now $20 doesn't eve fill it half way.

I had a GMC Yukon in 2000, the year I left Virgina. Gas in VA at that time was 60 cents/gallon. I had a CRX that I traded in, it was under $10 to fill it.

I miss it too. I'd almost do anything to get those fill up prices back. I used to have cash back then. If it weren't for gas prices and other bills and such I might have had a Turbo kit already. Why cant they go back to $1.70/gal or whatever it was when I first got the car.

Back in 2000 I was driving a 1970 Ford F250. It was costing me $300 a week even with the low gas prices. If I was driving that today I would have a heart atack. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

I don't let my 6 get below 1/2 a tank or I can't afford to fill it up. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

I wish I could afford to fill it up. I made the mistake of letting it get to empty. I wish I could say I always have a full tank. It gets scary when the needle is past the empty mark and nearly clearing the E on the gauge. haha that happened to me and Pooh Bear on Wednesday coming home from Bandi. We went out with his V-dub group afterwords and were way up on 54th and Wads.. Coming home he called me and told me he had to stop to get gas cause his car was telling him he only had 10 miles left on his tank. So I said I would see him at home, the second I hung up with him my light came on.. I was so pissed. It cost me 44 bucks to fill up and it cost him 38.

i'
Immpossible. When you were 15-16 the gas prices were like only $1.50 or somewhere close to that. unless I'm going crazy. I used to always put on average 12-13 gallons of gas for 15$ in the begining of 04 when I got my 8. so 15$/12 gal= $1.25

Someone help me am i going crazy! [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/6a434460.gif[/img] WERE GAS PRICES REALLY $1.25 ONLY 4 YEARS AGO. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/7de539a1.gif[/img]
