Out on a walk with Laura yesterday, we were observing that I have had the now 14 year old Miata for 10 years. She asked if I was thinking about trading in / upgrading.. and in the event of an unsalvageable loss, I would probably go with a 2002 Miata, in either of the yellows as the top pick. Just below that would be a Black Cherry '04, the garnet Red '03, or an '03 Splash Green.

Assuming I had to go with something other than a Miata, I suppose i'd go with a 5-door 6s in that lovely orange... or I guess I could 'settle' for an MS3... ;)

So If you had to replace your ride, assuming about the same financial position you're currently in, or one you'd be okay with, what would be the new ride?
95 Classic Red Miata - 'Kona'
Racing Beat Sways, AEM WB O2 sensor, ACT clutch, Ground Control Springs, Bilstein HDs, Fat Cat bumpstops, 95 stock 14s (winter) or 99 sport 15s (summer)
Flyin' Miata stuff:
FM II Link GT2560R turbo, Butterfly brace, N/A dual exhaust, Oil filter relo kit, Rear shock mounts

08 Sunlight Silver Mazda 3s GT Sedan - 'Tuna'
OEM Wing spoiler, Sirius and Media switcher

05 Onyx Black Mazda 6i Hatchback - 'Smokey'

If i lost my car and had to get a new one it'd be either a used black cherry RX8 or a black or blue 08 RX-8 with all the bells and whistles.

This is a hard one. I'd have to say if I had to give up my 8 or absolutely had to trade it in I'd just die. If I oculd afford another car I'd have to say I'd reall want an FD or a Supra. Maybe a '96 Eclipse GSX.

If I had to give up the MS6, I'd have to decide between several possibilities:

1. Another MS6
2. LGT Spec B
3. G35X (Used, obviously)
4. XTerra Off Road
5. See what new stuff is out at the time

I tend to flip-flop when it comes to cars/trucks. Usually after I'm in a car for a while, I want a truck. I'd probably lean towards an FJ Cruiser right now. Granted, I wish Mazda would come out with a true red RX-8...

WOW! This is a tough one. There are a lot of good cars out there right now. If I stuck with the Mazda brand, I'd probably get a 3 HB or MS3. Of course, there's always that Miata track car that I've been wanting to build up for years now.....

I would get another ms3, or buy a honda fit and an ATV.... I would be spending less than an ms3...but separating my fun into two different vehicles....and both get great mpg ;)

I'd look at the new Evo, maybe the Challenger when it comes out. Heck, I'd probably pick up an old '60s VW Bug and a Jeep for the winter.

Hmm lets see, car running into the ground? Massive repairs or a new car? I think in that case I would get a MS3.
Oh wait I just did that :)

Thought this was another photoshop thread about IMAGING a Mazda.

I would love to rebuild my '48 CJ2a.
