Welcome
And Ditto on the color. That black cherry is the hottest color Mazda makes.
I almost talked my wife into getting a Shinka Edition Black Cherry RX8. Obviously you got better taste than her. Her loss.[/b]

LOL...sorry that really made me laugh out loud. Too funny. Yeah, I was partial to it too...and the fact that they made only 1200 made me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

I love all the piano black accents against the sandy tan color. I think it looks clean.

Hey kids!

Finally stopped being lazy and decided to post here. I've been driving Mazda's almost exclusively since I was old enough to drive. I started off with a Mazda B2000 Pickup truck, had a stint with an '81 Toyota Celica Hatchback, and an '89 Chrysler LeBaron. After that I moved on to Miata's. I've had a '90, '91 and '92. Now I have a '92 Miata and an '05 RX8 Shinka. Mada's have always been reliable and fun to drive, so it was a natural progression. I also own a '48 Willy's that is in need of a rebuild.

So far I have been to one meet with this club, and I must say I am alot more happy with it then with other meetups I have gone to. I like the sense of "family". Everyone here seems to be a lot closer, and people don't mind if you ask questions, unlike rx8club.com. I got a lot of good ideas at the meet and found some new projects for my 8 that I hope to venture into.

I plan on attending as many meets and functions as I can, and thanks for the opportunity to be in a great club! So far I don't see a "my model is better than your model" attitude, it is all about the Mazda's!
