So, lots of people interested in participating in the images for the banner. Is anyone proficient in creating the banner though? I am technologically ill-prepared to undertake such an endeavor.

miT, I thought you were a programmer :D

Outside of the joke to miT, then I guess Geo is our man. Geo, how long do you think it will take once you have the images?

What would be just compensation for said work if you were to contract with CMZC?

In the meantime, I put this together to temporarily hold us over

Banners are easy. there are a ton of free banner sites that allow you to modify them as much as you want. just drop in a picture, choose a font or two, put in some words, and BAM! done!

I guess mainly, we need to get together and get a few pictures. Someone figure out what works. I'm available anytime pretty much, minus the first week of May.

Tut was probably right about three shoot venues; springs, Denver, North. I like the City Park idea and if it turns out, we can play some v-ball there or toss a frisbee at least. I'd be interested in Garden of the Gods down south. Up north, , I'm not familiar enough.

For Denver/Springs, I think the third week of may or later would be best. Good time of year as a lot of the spring flowers are up for color and there should still be some snow on the mountain tops.

Banner size? I've got an idea that could be easily turned into stickers that people could put on their cars too.

Edit: would people rather I use the classic Mazda M logo (1962) or the newer "winged' M (1997)?
These are the logos:

nice. I like the logo from 1962. However, more people would recognize the modern logo.

Regardless, I drive a Honda.

That's the one I like best as well. In case you didn't notice I incorporated the 1936 logo as well. These both could be easily changed to make nice, simple window stickers. I'll do that tonight when I get home, I'll play around with some more designs too. I've got another one in mind.
