Cancer sucks. Hopefully it isn't a personal experience you are having with it though.

I've mentioned this previously, but it needs to be mentioned again: people (mothers, usually) who won't A.) manage their kids or B.) get out of the way; generally in the grocery store.

So recently I found myself walking down an aisle with cart in hand. There was a lady with her cart pointing the same way, up ahead- with two kids picking out bread (on the right side). So as I approach I figure she'll tell her kids to step aside, so I can get by. What does she do instead? She turns her back to me and allows her kids to continue oogling over the bread products. Who does that!? So I just stand there, right behind the lady and her cart (back turned to me at this point) and her two kids right in front of me- oblivious to my presence. This happens for ohhhh,,, 30 seconds or so. I've already cleared my throat and getting ready to say something (mother still having her back turned to me, but WELL aware that I'm being blocked). Finally, one of the daughters acknowledges me and steps aside....her sister shortly follows suit. I walk by, whilst the mother literally turns further around so as not to catch my glaring stare of disgust.

It is, unfortunately. But I just had surgery yesterday and hopefully it's all gone now.

I have found myself in a similar situation many a time, but I believe my appearance has prompted a different response. You are quite polite sir.

Pretty pathetic that the KIDS are the ones who know better, and that the mother can't even have enough decency to apologize, or even look at you and acknowledge she was wrong. I know in the grand scheme of things it's not a major problem, but it's personally a huge thing to me when people are inconsiderate like this.

Not related to above, but what grinds my gears is Google Maps. It's actually a pretty awesome app aside from one feature...auto dimming. I was driving back from TN and overall it was the best of my map apps so I was using it. Then I noticed it was dimming automatically, so I got into my settings and turned off the screen auto lock because I figured that's what was causing it. It kept doing it so I went into settings again and turned off auto-brightness. Kept doing it. Now, this wouldn't be such an issue if it only dimmed the app and nothing else, and it does dim only the app for the first few minutes or so, but if you leave it like that it also dims the phone overall, to the point where you can barely even see anything to undim it. This is a major problem when you're driving down the highway and trying to do all this at the same time. I did a google search to see if there was a way to fix it and it said there isn't. A while down the road I started to leave feedback on the app, and AS I'M TYPING about the auto-dimming being an idiotic feature...just take a guess what it does. ARGH!!!!!!!()&%^(&RFIUYG*)^F

I actually thought the last part was pretty funny, but still infuriating lol.
