When people get in my way. Whether I'm walking down a hallway, in a restaurant, a grocery store, etc. The running track at the gym is thee worst, btw. Its like they have no concept of what's around them and don't care for that matter. I mean, come on...get out of the way! They act like they just saw a ghost when you give them the old, "get out of the way, have you no class" look.

Secondly: Entitled little brats (children, if you will). I just wanna smack 'em, cause you know their parents won't. This is generally speaking of course. But allow me to give you an example- Today, I come to a stop sign in my neighborhood. These two kids just walk right out in front of me...didn't even hesitate to question my motives...didn't break stride...didn't even stop the conversation they were having. Yet, the one little booger took the time to turn his head and look at me with this little snotty look (after they were 3/4 of the way across), whilst I was mouthing some choice descriptive words about their thoughtless actions. I remember growing up and always being aware of cars. "Look both ways...stop before crossing...respect your elders...if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all..." I was told, bla bla.

(It's funny- it may sound like I'm in a mood. But I'm actually not...I'm quite happy, quite.)

Thought of a few more:

- Why don't I get Altitude or Speed channel!?
- The fact that Taylor Swift (an obviously gifted songwriter, hehe) continues to write songs about dudes. Change it up!
- Why well drink (brand) selections are not advertised.

When you make a Banquet pot pie and it won't come out of the little bowl you cook it in so it ends up a big crumbled up mess.

I'm pretty sure they know how to tip but just choose not to.

I feel sorry for breakfast waitresses because they do more work than say a dinner-only place yet get tipped less because breakfast is cheaper. People come in and order the $3.29 2-egg special and will leave the change that is left over or a dollar or sometimes nothing at all. A group of four will have a $20 breakfast and leave $3.

Working in a restaurant for 5 years has made it pretty obvious that there are certain people who dont get it. And that is true, even lunch time servers, the crowd comes in and gets out just as fast. Their bill is $18, they leave a $20. Happen all the time. Dinner shifts are where its at.

God, who does that? I think people should always tip 20%, or in the case of bars, I usually tip $1 /drink.

As a past waiter, I am quite adamant about tipping correctly. I tip a minimum of 20% (sadly, even if the service is sub par) and additional monies if the service is better. Like Chromal, I tip $1 a drink...say I get two bottled beers and the barkeep literally takes 10 seconds to serve me...$2. More if its busy or other circumstances exist. Same with (Jimmy) bfast...I take into account the environment, how hard they worked, attentiveness, etc.

Mittay: Sadly, no...I have the base package ("150+" iirc). I vowed just tonight actually, to switch to a different provider, or opt for a better package. To my knowledge, they [dish] don't offer a package able to suit my needz.

As a former server, I expect waitstaff to bust their butts as much as I did to get good tips. I worked at a bfast rest...original pancake house, so our customers expected good service, but also acknowledged it.

DirecTVs 2nd lowest package, Choice (not their bare bones one), includes Altitude and Speed (and Root Sports if you're into the Rockies). $29.99/mo for the first year, $64.99 after that.

I don't work there anymore but we can still get refer-a-friend bonuses where we both get $100 ($10 off for 10 months) if you do switch so let me know.

And yea, having relied on tips in the past as well (pizza delivery driver) I'm a generous tipper and have been known to throw an extra couple dollars on the table when eating out with my parents who are notoriously low tippers.

I tip well, if service sucks, I don't tip well. Simple as that. If servers rely on tips, then they should make sure they don't suck. If there are circumstances beyond their control, I expect that communicated to me, not to be ignored.
