saw the pics. Compartment of the engine is coming along nicely. Once you are done with your bushings, I'll order some up for the S2000:o

I installed the strut rod/sway mounts. I still need to pull the control arms and replace those bushings. Once I do that I can finish the suspension.

Are you doing any reconditioning to these parts before you re-install them? By reconditioning I guess I mean paint or powdercoating.

I am. The strut rod mounts, etc. were sandblasted, primed, and painted with Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black.

I made some mounts for the exhaust heat shield. The old mounts rusted off. They still need to be welded but that is it. I'll get a pic when everything is installed.

On friday, I installed the shifter, primed the oil, and started the car up. The car has no leaks. I need to still get the car to operating temp and get the bubbles out of the coolant system. The clutch and brakes need to be bled still. After that, all that is left is body work and paint stuff.

If you want you can borrow my Lisle funnel to get all the air bubbles out of the coolant. Let me know.

I will probably ask you for it once the car is done. No real need for it right now, lol.

The brakes and clutch are bled now. The A/C is charged.

The rust around the windshield is fixed finally.

I took this pic before he painted the beige. He had two rust holes to fix and it was basically bubbling rust all the way around the frame. He painted two coats of primer and two coats of beige. There is no way this will rust again.

The windshield will go in today.
