It's hard finding a honda that isn't full of jdm and type r knock off crap. I'm loving this civic though. so far I have averaged 39mpg with mixed city/hwy driving. :)

So I've been gone for a while. my life has been pretty busy. feels like i'm doing something 24/7. but anyway I've been building my civic for a while now. I think it's time I start sharing with the "mazda" people.

But i didn't just make it look good. I made it fun.

It is turbo. mods are walbro 255lph fuel pump. 450cc injectors. obd1 chipped ecu (basemap tune, but looking to get a dyno tune). t3t4 turbo. godspeed fmic. type rs bov. "vtec" intake manifold. 2.5 complete exhaust system. boost gauge. tein lowering springs. drag-21 wheels. 15" by 7". tinted windows. new headlights, fog lights. upgraded bulbs. ex gauge cluster (with the rpm gauge), light show a/f gauge. (planning on getting a wideband)

Still to come. racing seats. integra rear seats. function and form coilovers. fresh paint job. build engine for 300whp. retrofit projectors. engine bay wire tuck. type r red interior carpet. and a few bits and pieces.

Any plans for a rear disc brake conversion? Or is it not possible on your year/trim?

Lookin really good! Love the front calipers.

I have and I am. I've learned a ton with everything I have done. I've done 99% of the work. with the exception of getting my exhaust rewelded.

Well the rear disc brakes on these civics are more "appearance" then function. the drum brakes do a good job. It's a lot of work to do the conversion so for now I don't see it happening.

Here are the turbo pictures.

Oooooo shiny. I didn't know much about the drum vs disc brake performance on these cars though. My friend has a 98 HX that has drums in the rear and he kinda wants to do a conversion at some point I think. Lookin really good though! Looks like you could use some touch up paint for that front bumper at some point :p
