No it wasn't a new one, sorry. It was just the 425hp version from what I could see. Don't know what he was trapping. I didn't see him run, just someone that ran against him told me what he ran.

13.77 isn't bad for a boat like that. Makes me wonder how fast my FD is then. I seriously doubt this Challenger was a 13 second car...more like a high 14 second car.

Played around with my friend's 2011 STi again tonight. He just went stage 2 with full catless turboback plus the intake and AP he already had. He's just running the stage 2 OTS map right now and is getting dyno tuned next week. Anyway, we did 3 roll runs as we just could not get a light to turn red for us.

First one was a 40 roll. He started in 2nd, I was in 3rd around 3500 rpm. He pulled about a car right away as expected because he was in his sweet spot in 2nd. I caught up to him by the end of 3rd gear and put about a car and a half on him by 100. 2nd and 3rd runs we went from about 20mph to 90 and both times I slowly pulled on him and had about a car and a half on him when we shut down.

The downpipe definitely made a difference for him. His car is very fast now and I'm wondering what would happen from a dig. I drove it for a little bit and tried to launch it from like 5k rpms slipping the clutch but the car really didn't like that and we were graced with the wonderful smell of burning clutch lol. I think I need more practice trying to launch an AWD car, heh.

Really hoping we can get to Bandi next Wednesday and line them up. Right now there's a 30% chance of thunderstorms on Wednesday so we'll see if that sticks around.

it looks like since i put exhaust on my miata and i sound like a civic everybody wants to race me =( but most of the time it happens in MY sweet 2nd gear =) like i pulled a prelude going to old Chicago today for a meet..... =) rsx Type S idk how but i took her from a stop =) my friends civic lx (his automatic) so i kinda let him win once XD friends civic hatch full exhaust/intake pulled away from talon tsi xD from the light and went straight for the turn he only got to me at like 50 or something xD hmm...... now one of the friends have integra with lsvtec.... i wonder how badly will i lose =)

i love my miata on the street but i hate it on the high way... =( i hit 95 mph and its done =) freaking going to take forever to get to like top speed witch is idk what on my car xD

Sorry for the shoddy story, but I had this nicely written story that I poured over an hour into, only to have CMZC give me the 'internal server error', thus erasing my work.

So....Beat two bikers riding cruisers on the onramp to I-70 today. However, being the old, embarrassed lovers that they are, they decide that they need to get back at me by harassing me and f!@#ing with me on the highway. One got close enough to me to smack my side view mirror, folding it closed. I tell you, if you haven't been harassed by bikers that won't leave you alone, well, it's a definite rush.

News flash: If you've lined up behind someone at a left-turn lane, before deciding to take the rightmost left-turn lane, right before a nice, long 1/4 mile stretch of onramp, then you're making a clear-cut statement.

If you lose, then you lose, but don't get all butt-hurt about it. You wonder why bikers have a bad reputation for being complete A-holes (T-bot aside, you're cool). I haven't felt this threatened or fearful while driving in all my life.

That's pretty crappy they would harass you like that. When I ride, I **** with people who cut me off or do something that endangers me first. Otherwise, I mind my business.

Sorry I'm going to have to call BS that a Civic with just intake/exhaust pulled on a Talon TSi. If he did, the Talon wasn't trying. And that RSX wasn't trying either man, sorry. I measured my 0-60 last night and it was in the 15-16 second range. 1/4 mile was like 20 seconds at 67 mph. NA 1.6L Miatas aren't pulling anyone with more than 130hp from a stop, lol.

As for the idiot bikers... I don't know why any biker would do shit like that. Don't they realize all the car would have to do is swerve into them and they are roadkill? Morons.

That's exactly what I was thinking, and that's exactly what I would have seriously thought about doing in that situation. F that, if you're going to harass me on the road, you're going to see why car wins over bike every time lol.

The most harassment from bikers that I ever endured was them talking shit about me, yelling it loud enough for me to hear, after I passed them because they were going slow as shit and swerving back and forth. That's OK, all they could do was talk. After I flew by around them, we were sitting at a light and they were yelling "I wasn't that impressed, were you? No, I wasn't impressed either, and he's smoking a lot too" LOL. They had their kids on the bike with them too. And no, I wasn't close enough to cause them any harm as I flew by, I was just sick of their BS.

What I will do if that ever happens again, is 1, stay in either the right or left lane, not the middle lane, and when I see them come up to me I'll start swerving, going away from the biker at first, back and forth. See if they want to get close enough to hit my car again. It was really loud when he smacked my car, startled the bejeesus out of me.

I got challenged by a chic in a Honda (I mean Acura) TL FWD. I didn't even know I was racing. I took off from the light a little quick (like normal) and noticed this car keeping up and actually speeding up past me. So I floored it and caught up a little. I stop next to them at the next light and noticed her and her girl friend laughing extra hard. I hear their engine revving up waiting for the green light. As soon as the other light turned yellow I revved up and counted out for our green. Once I saw the green I took off and started spinning them. She got some spin on her tires and was ahead of me by a wheel. I shifted early into second and leaped forward. Shifted into third early and the car squatted and just left her behind.

The look on her face will never leave my memory, it was great. She was pissed off.

I havn't had an actual challenge like that from a stop in a couple years. Most are usually from a roll on the highway.

Edit - Did I mention that my tires are still bald?

the other day I was driving south on peoria in Montghetto when a cavalier gets next to me and starts doing "pulls" next to me, I stare at him with a look of really? I wanted to smoke his face which I knew I could, but I hate driving in montbello so ghetto and so many cops I wasn't going to be stupid
