I would go to Burt, but the winter months are the hardest to go over there. They are closed most of the time. I tried going last week before I went into work and they were always closed, and they close before I get off at night. Josh took my truck last week finally and got it washed up for me, then it snowed.. I didnt even get to drive it while it was clean.. Now it is white, and who knows when I will be able to get it washed, they are talking about more snow tonight.

When im at home my car gets garage dibs over my own mothers car. Over the weekend her car had to sit outside in the snow while mine and my dads truck were nice and cozy in the garage
And when it comes time to wash and wax, the entire driveway and garage become mine. lol
I need a house where I'll have a real garage to work on the car, and a hose. Y'all are making me jealous.[/b]

Your driveway? I always head north or to Parker for a wash or parts.
Just get a bucket of hot water with mild soap to wash off your paint. The undercarriage can wait. (We had a 1998 Ford Exploder that was as corrosion-free as could be on the underside. It was more neglected than any car we've had in Colorado.) Paint and wax don't like mag-chloride.
... a parts store in Highlands Ranch... That is funny!
Don't forget to get the under carriage washed too.
I saw somewhere that the chemical reaction (aka. the rusting of your car) doesn't take place when it's really cold (I think it was in the teens though).
Hey Highlands Ranchers- are there any do-it-yourself carwash places in this "town"? It seems like we lack those and autopart stores.
But anyway, I'm holding off until Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. There is a chance of more snow Monday night.[/b]

I meant suggesting Trish use Burt....we have been over this before and it ain't pretty.
I dont plan to... for a wash that is. The only time i use a spray and wash type place is for times like these when im up at school and my poor car is covered in evil chemicals.[/b]

There's something about high pressure heated water that makes paying $2 for 3 minutes more worth it to me than doing it on my driveway- when it's cold. Don't get me wrong, during the summer months, my wash bucket gets used A LOT! But in the wintertime, the spray-n-wash places work for me.

I was thinking the same thing.
I have never had my car in the garage. Soon I will have the garage cleaned out both my wife's and mine can go in the garage.

I didn't really mean the driveway. That was a joke.
