Lol, the lines aren't really that close at all haha. Maybe from half a mile away, but shit man, the car was right next to me!!! There's very noticeable differences.

Doesn't surprise me, since the Cavie is a car commonly modded, riced-out, and driven by young guys. Ppl probably assume you're one of them.

Gotta love beaters. You can park them anywhere and not care if they get a shopping cart rammed into them or some idiot opening their door too far.

The other night on Barnes I was in the Miata and got in the middle lane to get around a long line in the right lane at a light. Saw there was a new C class in the left lane who ended up being next to me at the light and somebody came flying up behind me apparently pissed that I was in their way or something as we stopped at the light. Light turns green and the C class does a full on powerbrake burnout and takes off. Turns out it's a C63 AMG. I pass the people in the right lane and get over and the car behind me (a boosted 240) flies past me trying to chase him down. They get caught at the next light and the C63 absolutely destroyed the 240 (as you would expect). I wish I had been in the MS3 instead. Doubt I would have kept up with the C63 but I'm pretty sure I could have kept up better than the 240 did, heh.

Well... depending on whether the M5 was stock or not you may have gotten owned. Those things pack a lot of power but the power to weight ratio isn't so good.

OK. Since you asked. I passed him on I-25 to get on to 6th ave. He was stuck 4 cars behind me and as soon as we made the circle onto 6th he sped up around them and came flying behind me. So after a bit I floored it and I gained on him a little then it was dead even. We both had a long drive so I got behind him and when traffic let up again he floored it..... he gained on me a little and then it was dead even.

I was kinda amazed at the 8 because Dave and I weren't able to tune it at all so I'm not making anymore power than I was before. Boost is still dropping off. I need to get a new WG accuator and check for any leaks. Just need to fingd the time and energy.

Gotta love boost at this altitude. B)

*(By Dave and I mean Dave wasn't able to tune. :))

Once you get an upgraded W/G actuator, Jimmy, and you're boost isn't falling off the table, it will be a WHOLE new beast, trust me. My 8 was for me once I figured out how to get it to hold 13psi past 6,000rpm. It's like a new car.

Be prepared for a lot of broken transmissions

I got challenged! In the Volvo! By another equally bland car, white spercharged LeSabre (or whatever random Buick it was). I took off quickly from one light and he apparently thought I was egging him on, so he stomped it. Did so at the next light we stopped at. Since Westminster police crawl up and down Federal rather heavily, I decided to let him race himself. I couldn't help laughing, though. The Volvo is actually surprisingly quick, not fast mind you, but easily able to get out of its own way.
