I would have someone else remove it if I were you. Having it done right and spending a little extra is better then I electical fire. There will be a lot of splices that are all over. I would have some liquid tape or shrink rap put on all of it so there are no shorts.

Luckily for me, all his connections were tapped, rather than spliced, so they all just come unplugged..

Glad to hear things worked out and your Rides back on the road.
Its heaven and a dream to drive when everythings working just right.
But otherwise there are numerous headaches.
So goes the Life of a heavily mod Ride.

I got Protege Garage to foot the bill for an adjustable actuator. I will be bypassing the entire stock boost control

it has its disadvantages, the Standback will no longer be able to control boost electronically. I wont be using a variable boost map anyways, so it shouldnt be too bad. The actuator adjusts spool time and maximum boost, we'll see how it works..

the pg turbo turned out to be a pos... dyno'd 310awhp/378tq @ 21psi....4 months after the install, the shaft on the turbo took a shit and stalled the turbo.. pushed all the oil through the entire system, that was a dirty rebuild

went with a GT2871, did full turbo/mani/ewg/meth injection.. car was very strong, pulled so much harder than stock k04..best was a dyno'd 356awhp/365tq @ 19psi

sold the entire system, car is completely stock, ready to trade in.. (as soon as pigs fly and the value of my car is the same as what I owe on it)
