If the Cobb SRI for the first gens fits the second gens I don't see why the CP-E one wouldn't fit. I'd check around on MSF.org first though cause I'm sure someone has tried it.

I have the Cobb SRI..Was told by Cobb it would be fine to use it...but if CPE has one specifically for the 2010 get that. I have a feeling its the same part # listed under 1st Gen and 2nd gen.

A guy off MSF got an email from Paula from CPe stating that the 1stgen Nano would work for the 2ndgen MS3 because "its the same intake".

so I should be good with gettin' the 1stgen Nano..i hope.

Just saying if the mounting points are the same for the Cobb, they have to be the same for the CP-E too. And the engine is basically unchanged so the design should be fine as far as the MAF housing goes.

went onto the CPe website, and the 1st and 2nd gen intakes do have DIFFERENT part numbers...so i emailed CPe myself and asked them to let me know if I can use a 1stgen intake on a 2010...and if not, to explain the reason.

hope to hear back tomorrow.

and I was supposed to get my kit to allow my BOV to vent to atmosphere today..but SCR didn't recieve my part today! Hope to get it tomorrow...if only Loveland wasn't such a long drive from Cheyenne lol

In that case id say its safe to use either....but obviously there were changes made so if you want to spend the extra money to get the gen2 model, then do that. My Cobb fit perfectly and Cobb said no changes were necessary for it to work. They also told me they tested one first to be sure.

If you ever need an intermediary, I am usually at SCR 2 or 3 times a week. I can pick it up and you can meet me in FC, if that makes it any easier for you.

They are mildly expensive but it's worth it. They guarantee everything they do and if they mess it up they will fix it. Thus far, they haven't done anything to me that has caused me to lose faith in them. Plus, if you don't want to take it to them they provide awesome support if you want to try it yourself.
