'lap time' and 'tracks' in CMCZ 'garage'?

Postby chromal » Mon Dec 13, 2010 9:14

I autocrossed one of the vehicles in my 'garage' on the CMCZ website and would like to use the 'lap time' and 'tracks' feature of the garage to track the results, but am running out of ideas on how to actually accomplish this. Help!

You have to select the vehicle, then just click on the "add lap time" blue button in the middle. I just tried and worked for me.

That's the correct way to do it. Thanks for pointing that out. Moving this thread to the site suggestions/help area.

Hmm, weird. I'm still having problems. I tried adding a lap time. I had to create the track 'RMsolo.org winter 2010 event #3, Front Range Airport" and then select the new track, track conditions, track type, and enter a lap time. When I click 'Add Lap Time,' it says "You are missing required fields. Please click the browser back button and fix them. " But all the fields marked "required" have entries, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I thought maybe the "#" in the track name was confusing it so I created the track a second time without it, but that seemed to make no difference...

Just pick a track thats already listed lol...or try creating a generic one like "autox"

OK I think its an issue w/ adding the track name. Exit out of the garage all together...close you're browser window if you will, then go back in and add it. For future reference, I would just stick w/ "autox" for the track name since it happens EVERYWHERE!

Sounds like good advice, that's what I'll do.

I am somehow still screwing this up, haha. I goto garage, click on the Honda, then the 'new lap time +' at the bottom of the page. I fill out the form in what seems a reasonable way and still seem to be missing something.

hahaha...as lame as this is...you have to have a "1" in the first box for the time. maybe Tim can look into this and figure out why its setup that way.
