Need Help/Suggestions!

Postby bmwzoom » Thu Feb 25, 2010 9:14

Hey Ladies & Gentlemen!

I am having a hard time finding new things to do for the club and would like some suggestions as to what to put my extra (which is very little) time and energy into for this club. Are there certain things you would like to do (that are relatively inexpensive)? Should I start up the weekly or bi-weekly Rock Bottom Brewery meet where its not necessarily about the cars but more about just getting together, hanging out and having a couple beers?

Also, this summer, what would you like to see CMZC participate in?

(I am sure we will make every attempt to get the 3rd Annual BBQ going again)

I can't guarantee I can get everything accomplished, but I would like to do things and plan things that I know people will be interested in and will want to show up for.

Thanks!
Bree

I'd tell you what works pretty well for our SRT club, but it's probably not good enough for a Mazda club.

I still can't believe I didn't have any takers for the Keystone condo weekend. Anybody going this weekend? Day trip maybe?

I would say lets setup another weekender, but....

Baby steps.

LOL. Don't worry dommo, every car club thinks their car is better than every other car. I'm sure plenty of SRT owners bash on Honda owners etc. American muscle guys won't give respect to anything with a 4 cylinder. It's just the way the car community is most of the time.

Strip club? I still think one of the funnest times I've had was a Sunday after sonic where a few of us cruised down 6th over to shot gun willies and had a blast! Since I'm in the industry I think I can get a few people in with the same deal which is basically no cover and special priced drinks. That was a LOT of fun tho.

as much much fun as a strip club sounds, i'd imagine some members might not be into that (chris is a prude). I like the idea of sports day, but that never materialized because of lack of participation. Part of the issue to is $$, people appear to be low on funds right now so a night on the town might be difficult.

What do i suggest? bowling, that seemed to do okay when we had that outing in the past.

I agree Guido, I think planning a bowling day would be a great start!

I'm not sure if if the bowling lane off Wads. and Mississip. still has that bowling deal. (Brain fart.... what's the name of it Bree?) I think they had unlimited bowling sunday nights after 9p.m. for cheap.
