No problem at all. What version of IE are you using? Mebe upgrade or try IE8 Beta.

I'm running IE7 on my XP machine and using IE8 beta on my sisters laptop on vista and the newest IE8 Beta on Windows 7 Beta. So IDK. All work fine on all the machines all versions of Windows.

I am using Internet Explorer on a Dell desktop with complete wireless internet and it works 100% of the time. I don't know much about computers so don't kick me but....Could it be your local server?

No, there's no IE for mac...lol windows stopped making it after Apple released safari since IE couldn't compete in any way what so ever (its still the same for windows hahaha). Actually IE can't compete with ANY browser out there in terms of speed or security issues.
