Is there any way if you guys can check to see if you can allow the use of .png files with the [IMG] code? I know it's not a commonly used image format, but still used by some.

Are you getting an error? I know it's an allowed format in the gallery, so you should be able to use the image tag with it as well. Try and upload a pic into the gallery, then simply use the url to that image.

It's an image I have in my photobucket account. When I tried to post it, it said something like invalid file type. I had to upload it as an attachment and it worked that way.

You can now. There was a typo in the board settings.
