Our cars are tuned from the factory to run 93 octane, so on paper our car 'should' run better on it... but at the same time Colorado's high elevation is the reason for our gas stations only having 91 octane. High elevation = less air, less air = 91 octane is sufficient? I'm not sure of the specifics, but the short answer is no. Don't go out of your way to find 93 octane.
LC is set at 4,000 on my car, FFS at 6,000 [color="Red"]edit 4,200-4,600[/color], my diff is also ghetto strapped and I haven't broken yet, but I did break my rear motor mount once (wasn't even noticable in terms of drivability).
