Yea we're still planning on going single but we're waiting if Eric is gonna sell is other turbo that he has. but i went to rx7club and there was a guy selling a Turbonectics 62-1 T4 flange.. any thing good on that turbo? But the "exhaust side" or "heat side" of the turbo looks used so it must be a rebuilt one. I got pictures of it....VRx8 wrote:I know you, I own the silver fd. Learn as much as you can before you start messing with the rotary's, do your homework and you'll be alright. You guys still planing on going single turbo? got any parts yet?

Hey Bobby, welcome!
Those Turbonetics are pretty good from what I understand, and that turbo seems to be almost as common on our cars as the GT35 series.
I told your Dad tonight that I want to see if the turbo is actually good or not first. I need to install the new turbo but I'm taking the manifold to Loveland Sunday to test fit on Dave's car and if it works I won't have it for a few days after that also. But I'm planning on trying both of the CHRA I have for this current turbo and see if they're both bad or not. Either way, I'll let you guys know as soon as I can about the turbo. But I'm planning on selling it as a whole kit so you won't need to buy anything, aside from maybe some heat shielding for the coolant hoses. But maybe I'll provide that as well. But if it's a bad turbo it'll need a rebuild anyway, or rather a new CHRA.
