New MS3 owner in COS/Ft Carson

Postby Scribz » Mon Nov 14, 2011 9:14

So I bought this sucker about a month ago and got totally raped on the deal. Long story short, bankruptcy a couple years back and another car tied up in divorce limbo left me with little choice to take the shaft. But I'm absolutely in love with my 08.5 MGM MS3. Just thought I'd say hello and meet some folks. I'm pretty excited to learn about this car and enjoy it to the fullest.

On a side note, this is my first manual trans car and I've had some blunders I thought I'd share so you could laugh at my misfortune. Had the car parked in gear one morning and went to start it up. Took my foot off the clutch and car shot foward into the curb...needless to say my baby has suffered at my hand.

I got pretty screwed on my '09 MS3 also buying it brand new for full sticker price when the '10s were already out, lol. I was on graves at the time and had been up all night and drove by the dealer and bought it on impulse. Bad idea.

Anyway, welcome to the club and enjoy the MS3!

Shaft?

Good choice on the car, bad choice on the shaft.

Aye!

Guess you should have sought out a female salesperson, no shaft to give.

You'll love the car and have a good support network in that area.

I bet you probably saw them before, but didn't notice the Speed3s standing out from the regular 3 hatches until you got yours and started noticing the differences. I didn't really notice the speed3s or speed6s until I got my 6 and got involved with Mazdas. Once I knew the visual differences, I started seeing more Speed3s. Still don't see many Speed6s though.

Anyways, welcome!
