i have to agree with iani you are just mentally insane for not carrying tools around when you drive a rotary, there is always a piston engine car broke down that ask for your help when they see you pull into a nearby parking spot. They call our engines unreliable lol.

I do have them in there for me, but I end up using them on other's cars WAY more than I use them for mine. If I didn't have them, then I'd have problems haha. Murphy's law or some such.

It is. I park them in my garage. Most of us don't add 50 lbs to our cars by keeping them in our trunk. That is a rotary-ism.

A rotary-ism to help a piston-ism apparently LOL. Also known as "paranoia with the benefit of helping other people" lol.

Hey, mine still runs even though it's burning oil, and a rotary can still run even when it's blown haha.

Are we really getting into this again? lol

I can't help that I'm telling the truth haha, I really have helped more people with their cars than actually worked on mine with the tools in my hatch. But I'll let YOU live in YOUR fantasy world if you don't believe me haha.

the only time mine failed a piston engine would have failed also and i still wish i had gotten that license plate number of the truck that decided to drop off the rock in the middle of the road so it could take out my oil cooler line.

To be fair, you added at least 50 lbs with the engine swap, so you guys should be about even on weight including tools, lol.
