Yea black is definitely the best color for the 2nd gen MS3s. Hides the big grinning front bumper a little better.
Did you get the tech package? I want a proximity key system on mine, hehe.
Newb here to Mazda's

I like the black the best as well. However, I see that other countries like Canada are getting the Crystal White Pearl 2010 MS3's. We (USA) get the Liquid Silver Metallic and they get the Crystal White Pearl. Hell, I like the Liquid Silver Metallic too...can't lie.
And no tech package here...just didn't think it was worth it. Nice, yes. But not worth it to me. But with the changes coming to the tech package on the 2011 models...maybe worth it.

This is in addition to what the 2010 models have...
Added to MAZDASPEED3 Technology Package for 2011:
Rain-sensing wipers
Auto on/off headlights
Bi-Xenon auto-leveling headlights
Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS)
Rear LED taillamps
Thoughts?

These are all great features. They come on the 2009 GT except for the Adaptive front-lighting system. (Not sure what it does).
Whenever the rain-sensing wipers come on out from nowhere, it always startles me!

I've got the 2011 with Tech package, I love it! Agree with Number2, rain sensing wipers can scare the crap out of you at times. The AFS is interesting. When you turn a corner the headlights move towards that direction to help you see better.
On a normal 2nd Gen 3, the front bumper looks like the car is smiling because it is just generally happy. However, on a Speed 3, it is grinning because it is going to Zoom-Zoom around ur a$$. It's the last thing that rear view mirror sees! A Speed Demon 3!
