Hi my name is Joe and I have bought me my first Mazda.
I have wanted a Miata ever since it first came out, but with families, divorces and unemployment, I’ve had to wait.
I have been looking since the first of the year for a car to drive around town instead of the Jeep.
Then last week a Miata popped up on my phone (thanks Craigsnotifica)
I had found a low mileage Miata to go look at. I was the first one to look at it and bought it right then. Nice car, low miles 56K with new tires, a couple small dings and a cracked and faded back window, overall a nice clean car. I’ve attached a few pictures in my album.
I’m checking ever thing over make sure all is in good working order and cleaning as I go.
Can anyone suggest a garage to-do a 60K maintenance and an upholstery shop to get the top done?
Anyways, I am looking forward to working on my Miata and reading all the informative information everyone has to offer! :)

No better way to get to know your car than to do a major maintenance...

Here's your inspection list.

And as for the top, what does it need? You might be better off swapping the whole frame for a 99-2005 generation top with the glass no-zip window.

Also, see my post in the Miata section here about the Flyin Miata headlight group buy.

Post us some pictures, and welcome to the club!

Congrats on your long awaited Ride.
I'm sure you scored a great deal; buying a convertable during winter.
