I just moved to Denver from Arizona 3 weeks ago because my company offered me a promotion out here that I couldn't pass up. Yesterday I traded in my acura and purchased a new 2009 Mica Black Mazdaspeed 3 sport. It also came with sirius satellite radio, homelink/autodim rearview mirror, and lojack. In total I got it for $21,866 OTD including all taxes and fees which I felt was a great deal plus they gave me a good deal on my trade in. I am loving every second of this car and keep going out to my garage just to remind myself it's actually mine. I have driven Acura's my entire life and I am proud to switch over to the Mazda world now.

What kind of Acura was it?

And we need PICS of the new Zoom ZOom.

Welcome to CMZC.

Welcome to Colorado, the club and the Mazda community! Congrats on everything! Can't wait to see some pictures of your car and hopefully you can make it out to a meet soon.

Welcome to Denver. What company do you work for?

Oh, and I'm guessing your car looks like this.....

I ended up trading in my 2002 Acura rsx base. It had a few things wrong with it and had 2 accidents on the carfax which I wasn't aware of until last week. I will definitly come out to some meets, any planned right now?
I can't exactly post on the internet where I work because people have been let go for that in my line of work.
First thing I am getting in the next few weeks is going to be window tint. Do you guys typically run snow tires here, I've never driven in the snow so I don't know what it's like or if I need them on this car. Here are some pictures of the MS3, not the best quality because I took them with my phone.

Figured I would attach another picture of where the MS3 stays at night.

I usually plan a meet in the winter for us to grab dinner, drinks and shoot pool. Last winter we mainly met at the Rock Bottom Brewery downtown Denver, but I am not sure that was a big hit with people. Lots of guys complained about driving/parking downtown. We might change it to somewhere else this winter. As soon as my life slows down a bit I will plan it if it hasn't already been planned :)

Where did you purchase the MS3?

I don't run snow tires, I have a great set of all seasons but it may be different for speed owners. I just have a stock & simple 3.

But welcome!

Right on! Welcome to the club! I'm sure you'll be just like the rest of us and adding mods left and right and excited about 'em like a lil kid on christmas day haha. But congrats on the new ride!

I run all-seasons for now, because I haven't the cash for proper snows. But I have AWD, so the MS6 plows through just about anything with all-seasons on.

I have Michelin X-Ice 2's on my MS3 that I got maybe 3 weeks ago and they seem fine on dry pavement.... I haven't allowed snow to touch my car yet lol :D

Yeah I would be up for any type of meet and can always move my schedule around to make the times work. I was looking at some of the Bridgestone Blizzack tires but at nearly $190 a pop that's a bit pricey in my mind. Plus the hassle of swaping them back and forth during the seasons is a pain. I may just end up getting some 16" wheels and slapping some snow tires on those that way when it snows I can change them in my garage and when it's not I can use my normal wheels.
Also do you guys know of any places that do good window tinting for a decent price? Looking to get it done in the next two week. As for the modifications I was thinking about doing some basic bolt on's such as intake, downpipe, exhaust, BOV, and so on but I'm afraid it will void my warranty and this is the first car I've owned that has a warranty so I want to be able to utilize it if needed.
