What's up everyone,my girlfriend and I recently moved to Thornton from North Carolina, So I'm new to the forums and to the state, I drive a 07 Black Mazdaspeed 3 GT with only a few mods...Mazdaspeed CAI, SU Motor mount, apexi turbo timer, and prosport boost gauge, so not much yet. I was an active member of the Carolina Mazda club before I left and was hoping to find a group to get involved in out here, my brother had mentioned before I moved here that there aren't that many people that are into cars here so when I stumbled across this site I was pretty stoked. so what is there to do around here? any meets or shows coming up?

Welcome! The MS3s are multiplying like rabbits in this club.
I think you'll find that forced induction gives you a little edge at this altitude over naturally aspirated cars. You know, like 350Zs, Mustang GTs, and Charger R/Ts. They tend to make this wheezing sound when trying to keep up with us.

welcome. colorado does have a nice car scene, the friday westminster meets bring in quite a few cars(3 business lots full), and thats all local. Like Stealth said, forced induction makes the car up here. its not like sea level where you can make a killer fast N/A car for $1500 in mods.

Welcome to the club! We are happy to have you here! We have weekly Sonic meets, one in Westminster (which is the closest to you on Friday nights) and the other is in Lakewood on Sunday nights. We went for a nice cruise last night up to Georgetown (I-70) it was a blast! Also, on the 24th I am hosting a detail day to get ready for our annual BBQ which will be on the 30th. So... we will definitely keep you busy! Welcome again, and if you have any trouble finding any specific info, please PM me and I would be happy to answer any questions. Welcome!

I stopped by the weekly Sun. meet at Sonics in Lakewood last night and there was quite a show of cars. Everyone was pretty friendly, I felt a little old:huh: but I'm sure you'll slide right in.
