Hello Everyone, my name is alyssa, i currently have a 2008 SRT-4, and i am thinking about trading it in for an MS3. Please give me your input! thanks:)

Yes it is, and I've just had really shitty luck with it

Hmmm. Well, the MS3 is pretty similar, though probably a little better quality. One thing the SRT has that the MS3 does not is an altimeter that adjusts fuel-air ratio for altitude, but that shouldn't be a game breaker for you.

The MS3 has some quirks, like any performance car, but most of the people who own one love it.

buying a sports car from dodge is like playing russian rulet with a magazine fed pistol...you never win. After coming from a family that owned 5 dodges...4 of which had major problems...youll have alot better luck with mazda. Plus the speed3 is a much nicer car as far as interior and has a much nicer exterior for the $$ than many sports cars.

I say its time to join the ZOOM ZOOM Family.
Have you already test drove a MS3??
Thats all it took for me to get my first Mazdaspeed that same day.
Hopefully you won't get screwed trying to trade-in that year-old Dodge.
All thats left is just deciding what color MS3 you want. lol

Alyssa, like I said on cosrtoc.net, just get your Caliber running right, and be happy with it. If you start modding a MS3, you'll end up having the same problems if it's not running good.

not a hater..just have never had good experiences with a (i meen 5) dodges

True, if you're looking to mod, any Mazdaspeed vehicle, as they stand right now, is NOT the best choice. At least not power mods.

i did test drive one, i like it. Im not going to mod it as much as my Caliber, but the MS3 is a lot more of a girls car and i like that :) if i do get one im not going to be doing ton of power mods i just want it to be clean and quick

I've kept mine stock and it's been reliable so far. But then again, I only have 14k miles in over 2 years. I'm afraid to start modding it, because I know problems will follow, and I'm just not as deep in the Mazda scene as I am the SRT scene, so I'm afraid I won't know wtf I'm doing if I start having problems. It's definitely a way nicer car than my Neon SRT-4. Not very much nicer than your Caliber. If you plan on keeping it close to stock, I say do what you think will give you more enjoyment. But with the MS3, even simple mods like an intake and exhaust can be an ordeal. From a financial standpoint, I don't think it makes sense to get rid of your car if you've only had it a year or so. You'll just keep digging yourself into a bigger and bigger negative equity position with the cars. If you do decide to get one, let me know and I'll see if I can get one wholesale and try to save you some money.

wow...bite your tongue...I guess its fine to insult every guy who has bought an MZ3 or MS3 lol.

Just about any car- especially an economy based or an economy based "sports" car, is a girl car if you think about it.

Thanks Dom, im thinking im gonna make caliber all stock again, so it runs better cuz its a good car, just to many problems, but like you said nothing that cant be fixed!
