Just moved here from California....

Postby LuckyKelleyK » Fri Apr 17, 2009 9:14

Hello! I just moved to Denver from California. I got my 2009 true red MS3 in September, and I love it! I am a nursing student and I love technology and my min-pin billy! Here is my car.

This is my second mazda, the first was a 1990 red miata which I drove in high school. My dad still has it. It is still a fun car to drive, despite its age!

Welcome to the club, and nice pics! We have a few other ex-cali folk here, myself included. Where ya from?

Query: Did you get the car in Cali and then move? The front tint suggests you did not have it tinted in Cali, yet I swear the plate frame says oakland...

Racing Beat Sways, AEM WB O2 sensor, ACT clutch, Ground Control Springs, Bilstein HDs, Fat Cat bumpstops, 95 stock 14s (winter) or 99 sport 15s (summer)
Flyin' Miata stuff:

08 Sunlight Silver Mazda 3s GT Sedan - 'Tuna'
OEM Wing spoiler, Sirius and Media switcher

05 Onyx Black Mazda 6i Hatchback - 'Smokey'

Thanks! Yes, I got the car from Mazda of Oakland. I was just naughty and ignored tint laws. I am originally from El Dorado Hills which is east of Sacramento, but the last couple years I have been living in the east bay. These pics were actually taken at the San Francisco airport right after I got the windows tinted.

Thanks everyone! I actually really like the snow. I prefer it over rain. I was told it didn't rain much here, but the last 2 days it has been raining. The weather definitely keeps you guessing doesn't it?

Over the summer it tends to rain quite a lot actually, or at least it did last summer and the summer before as far as i remember. But unlike Cali, it generally only rains for a few hours, not all day long.

Any mods on the Speed?

Not yet, I am keeping it pretty much stock for at least a year. We will see, I am not exactly rolling in cash right now :)

(Oh, I did get a leather armrest cover with red stitching to match my seats... haha)

Ahh, stock is not as much fun, ;) . Though i know exactly what you mean about money, since my unsuccessful snowboard trick i have not been to work. Coming up on two weeks. I need to start saving again for more mods.
