Wow, congrats on the new Speed6, and welcome to the club!!
Sounds like a hell of a sleeper of an S4 you have there, I was always a fan of the B5, specifically the Bi-Turbo's response to simple bolt-ons and tuning, very under-tuned motor from the factory. I'm assuming you traded it in on the Speed6? If so, what made you get rid of the S4? Just curious. You seem like somewhat of a "mod addict" judging from previous setup on your S4, so I'm assuming you'll be modding your Speed6, with that in mind, I used to own a Speed6, that for a short while, was the most powerful Speed6 in Colorado, with just a few simple bolt-ons and tuning, so if you have any questions about modding the car, let me know, I'm pretty familiar with the DISI motor. I also made quite a few tech sticky's about the Mazdaspeed 3/6's over in the Mazdaspeed section, if you want to check them out:
http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=33
Just hearing someone talk about modded, 4 door, turbo AWD sleepers, brings back memories of back when I had an '04 WRX. I had a VF34 turbo, 565cc inj, Walbro 255, full turboback consisting of TurboXS Stealthback w/Prodrive axleback, TXS TMIC, STi RA V.6 gearset, up-pipe, crank pulley, ported OEM manifold, Perrin inlet hose & fuel rails, all of which was dyno tuned with ECUtek software.... and of course, Rota wheels, springs/konis, sway bars, tower braces ect. All of which when I was still in the Army, stationed down at Ft Hood, Texas. On a local Mustang dyno down there, the highest my WRX ever put down on 93 octane (never tuned with race gas) was 306whp. With the shorter gears, the fastest I ever ran down at sea level was a 12.7@107mph, but the car had no body mods, the springs only lowered 0.5" so not noticeable to the untrained eye, the axleback was Prodrive, so it looked VERY OEM, wasn't loud at all, the only giveaway was the wheels, which were just 17" Rota SDR's. Unless I popped the hood, no one ever expected that car.
I walked away from C5's, F-bodies, countless V8 Mustangs, EVO/STI's, ect. Granted, it was no TT V6, and couldn't pull a Viper or Lambo lol, (well, maybe an old Viper, only from a stop lol), but it was a fun little sleeper. Sadly, due to the foot high wing (and smaller roof wing), BBS wheels, Brembo brakes & multiple decals from the factory, my current STI will probably never be a sleeper lol. Something tells me, you'll fit in just fine here
We're having a small meet at Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow night, if you have the time, stop by and meet a few people. Enjoy the car man!!

The majority of it was from guys in the NE, but before Jay made the video he asked others to submit clips etc. So….. it also has S4’s from various places around the US.
Let's hear the funny stuff ;-)
Oh i believe it! Was that video a compilation of S4 vids from around or was that all you and your buddies from NE? There is a reason i ask... and its funny.[/b]

Cool. The part shown at 1:10 with the blue audi racing the STi. I surf IWSTI a lot and the full video of that race popped up over there and i just remembered the shit that the STi driver got. If you ever see the full video its quite funny. The driver of the STi drives like the biggest moron ever. His body movements and facial expressions when he slams home a gear are just to hilarious. Thought maybe you would know who he was and let him know he made me laugh..
And if you do happen to know him im sorry for making fun of him, but its just funny to me.

I'm glad you chimed in. I saw posts of yours on various sites and wanted to pick your brain on some things if you don't mind? I'll e-mail/call you if that's ok.
No actually I traded the S4 in on a Land Rover of all vehicles. And the Land Rover was traded for the Ms6 last weekend. I hated that thing. It was like driving a dilapidated building down the road. 8mpg at best and couldn't get out of its own way. Fun in the woods, and that was about it.
I didn't really want to get rid of the S4, but I had done pretty much the most I was willing to with her. The next step was gt30's. And keep in mind you're buying double for pretty much everything when dealing with a TT. So snails alone were almost $3k, then inlets and so on. Yup, ASP makes a kit with 'em. 650whp out of the box. Crazy, but the car runs out of gears quickly. The GT S4 made mine feel like a stocker. Pulled on me like I was parked on the side of the road, insane car. I'll dig up some 1/4 runs, time slips etc. for you. I'll also post some 1/4 runs of me and C5's, TT 996 Porsche's, Salleen 'Stangs, so on. I also have my buddies 0-179mph video on the Autobahn. It's pretty sick watching just the speedo move that quick. It's as quick as most cars rpm gauge moves, seriously.
If you're running high 12's you'd stay with early Vipers no problem ;-)
Sounds like you had some great cars. Nice sounding STI too.
What Buffalo Wild Wings are you speaking of?

ya know that's pretty awsome since im a native and i feel the same way about Colorado.
Wow.
I thought my local Audi club back in Stink Town, I mean Philly was quick with the responses.
Let's see....
I love Colorado more than anywhere on this planet. I spent my summers here as a kid and always wanted to live here. Seeing my wife and I had the opportunity to move anywhere in the US, we both said quickly "Colorado".
Thank you all, look forward to meeting up!!!

Of course you can hit me up with questions anytime man, I'll PM you my info.
Twin GT30's would have been sick, but I hear ya, sounds pricey. One of the reasons I got rid of my 350Z, after I did most of the basic bolt-ons, to get anymore power out of it, I would have had to spend a considerable amount of cash in order to make anymore power, as FI kits aren't cheap for V6's in general, and I didn't feel comfortable spending $6k+ on a turbo/supercharger kit, and then have to worry about building the motor (uber-expensive) if I wanted more than just a mild boost tune. Honestly though, I was always more of an autoX freak back in the day, I'm not even sure what I would do with a car that made over 650whp!! That sounds insane, God bless AWD, as I've been in 600+hp muscle cars, Stangs, F-bodies ect, and on street tires, the couldn't put power down to save their life lol.
Thanks man, the STI is still stock actually, so it doesn't sound that great. My old WRX was heavily modded, but nothing for the STI yet. I'm paying off an engagement ring, a wedding, and me & the wife have our first child on the way, so modding the car has been on the back burner lol, but will probably have a couple things done to the STI by the end of the summer.
I believe someone posted the address to BWW's, it's right off of County Line and I-25, exit 195 IIRC. Stop by if you get the chance.
