Well it totally doesn't but I guess I can get back on that subject. I definitely think either the MS3 or the 8 should be tops but you could always look into the MS6 ;)

I test drove the Speed3 tonight and it's a hell of ride for sure. I love the torque and how you can be doing 70 in fourth before you even realize you're going fast -- would love to take this thing out on the Autobahn. The steering and velcro to the road feel wasn't quite at the RX8 level, but it was very good. And of course it's a much more practical car in terms of winter driving and putting four or five people in it (I can see taking four people on a long trip in the 3 -- in the RX8 not so much, although it's great that the RX has a real back seat. But the 8 is definitely sexier.

So now I'm torn. I love both these cars. If I were to go with the 8 I guess I'd just keep my Accord and use it for driving on those winter days when even with good snow tires the 8 would be a bad idea (I realize the 3 needs snow tires too). The 8 supposedly costs $6K more than the GT3, but with incentives and haggling I could probably get a leftover '07 for the same price as the GT3 (I definitely get the feeling that dealers will barely negotiate on the 3 and are eager/desperate to unload their remaining 8s).

Tough call -- but I'm sure glad I checked out what Mazda has to offer.

I also test drove the high end Subaru AWD thing tonight -- the STI or whatever it's called. They want 40K for it! Uh, no thanks . . .

CUDriver as for comfort on the speed3 I did an 11 hour trip to and from Vegas with only minimal stops and was comfortable the whole way. The seats for long drives are amazing. just an fyi :)

If you can afford to keep the Honda for snowy days and passengers, I'd get the 8, but I'd sure take an MS3 if I could.
