30 min on dc fast charge 4 hours from empty on the 220 in my house. 110 is slower than crap though. 100mi range will get me to denver or springs. There are chargers at Walgreens, some malls, movie theaters. I still have gas burners for long trips, but for picking up kids from school and errands around town it's king.

The Nissan Leafs (Nissan Leaves? Correct plural/collective for a Leaf is ?) make a lot of sense when they're well matched to the intended driving duty cycle. My commute is a 88 mile round trip with a 3000ft climb at the end of the day, probably wouldn't be too pretty if I tried it with that car.

Hills and speeds above 65mph kill range. My husband wants to take it to littleton to work, but I think he would have to take hwy85. It is perfect for me though. Most of the time I stay around castle rock, but if I want to go to highlands ranch, it has no issues. We are going to take it to the springs Friday. We will see how that goes. Luckily my 220 charger is portable, and plugs into any dryer vent. We can charge it at my father in laws house. I'll let you know how it goes :). If it does fine it will save a lot of money on gas as we drive to the springs every weekend.

Yea, especially when you get someone else to pay for your "gas".

Congrats on both of your recent purchases. How did the MS3 trade shake out, if you don't mind me asking? Just curious if the dealer got a sweet car and cache.

Castle rock is nice. I really thought I would miss littleton, but castle rock seems to have most things I need. If I can't find something here, HR is really close. And now a really cheap trip thanks to this car!

Cool. Like you said, not bad considering-

It's too bad though. You're one of many <now, and counting> that have sold their Mazdas:(
CMZC seems to be the antithesis to Mazda ownership...
