I'm pretty sure I have exhaust leak and really scare to take it do emissions. Anyone have headers to cat to the tips for a s5 Fc? Non turbo. Well I got 4 hours before I get up and go. Wish me luck on locating these parts and passing

I probably have a stock exhaust around here somewhere. S4 and S5 exhausts are pretty much the same with only minor differences.

The car didn't pass emissions. It was running rich and the guy said that the co2 was to high. He said timing is off and cats... Damn

Rx7's are hard to get to pass sometimes. We really dont do street car work anymore but maybe could help you out with this.

No idea on how much for the exhaust, I will think on it over the weekend.

RX-7's are very difficult to pass emissions. It sucks.

Was it just your CO2 high? How was your N0X and HC? If just the CO2 was high you can try replacing your O2 sensor, fill up the car with some 87 and take it on a long drive before going emissions testing (at least 20-30 minutes) to get the cat good and hot.

Thanks!

Do you think a new catalytic converter and fixing the exhaust leak will help you pass emissions?

If you need a cat to borrow, I have one from my RX-7 that is sitting under my stairs in the house. However, I live in Pueblo.

Here's a pic

From what the guy at emissions, he said that it could be a timing issue. That would make sense since the previous owner replaced what he said distributor, from what I was reading is actually the crank angle sensor needs to be adjusted.
So I guess I'm taking it to my cousin or a shop... Grr I hope this is a easy fix. Turns out I'm having idle issues too. My other Fc passed emissions with flyin colors.... With I didn't rid of it...

Well at this point I'm not sure. From the headers it sounds like a there's a hole, cause it doesn't sound right. I'm wanting to replace it all anyways. But for now just need to get through emissions.
