Sig Sauer Mosquito 22LR

What the heck, figured I sold another one locally off here :)

Selling my .22LR Sig Mosquito
Mainly bought it for fun and for the wife to learn on. Runs great with the Sig-Recommended CCI Mini-Mag ammo, but I have had mixed results with other brands. Price is 200. Gun is also listed on Gun Broker and ends in a few days, but I would gladly sell locally and avoid the FFL nonsense. Comes with case, 1 mag, Sig paddle holster (oem pic used)
Has minor wear from holster, nothing crazy though. Feed ramp has also been polished. Otherwise a great plinker and training gun for that matter.

Trigger is DA/SA with Decocker and Manual safety. There is also a hidden lock in the handle of the gun that can be turned on with the included "key".

I do stress that it be used with CCI Mini-Mag though (sig recommends it as well). It's available at walmart and is still dirt-cheap compared to centerfire (about 7 bucks for 100 rounds)

The Bodygaurd looks like a nice piece. Would be more interested in that one.

It is. It's the size of a wallet and that's exactly how I carry it. Coworker has first dibs though, when the time comes. Will be a couple weeks most likely. That's why I said "may" be.

Can I get dibs after your coworker? :)

I want something exactly like this. It's too bad that I get the feeling it's an ammo-snob. =\

It IS an ammo snob. I only ran the CCI through it because that's what Sig recommended. Tried a few others and most always ended in typical .22 failures. CCI is easy to find though to its credit. And it still beats the 9/box of 50 I pay for bulk 9mm...wont even touch on other calibers. I wanted this over a Ruger for the "training" aspect of it (same mechanics as a normal auto). Its a great gun for beginners or plinkers but it was great for my wife to learn with. Has a hammer and can be fired DA or SA, manual safety, magazine safety, decocker, etc etc. Great for learning how to operate a semi auto and teaching mechanics. Also great for rapid recycling of 22 into a hill :)
Now she wants a 1911 45 so we are way past the mosquito...and I really have no argument against such a desire :)
