Well unfortunately i'm getting rid of some of my mods to pay off some debt..This CNT Racing DP was on my 2010 MS3 for 2 months. Bought it brand new from CNT for $360. Will fit 1st and 2nd Gen MS3s. Replaces both stock downpipe and testpipe. For those who don't know about this company, they make a great downpipe and for a great price as well. I was sketchy about buying this DP as opposed to like COBB and CP-e, but quality is just as good, if not better. No CELs, and comes with 2 o2 sensor bungs with an extra on top for a wideband(comes with bung plug)

Price: $250(like i said before, bought and installed 2 months ago.. locals preferred but will meet half way  **Will not ship**

Did you do the swap yourself?

I did my downpipe by myself in my garage on jackstands. Took about 5-6 hours. Hardest part for you will be getting the bolts where it connects to the exhaust manifold off. My car only had about 7,000 miles on it when I did the downpipe. So you'll want to make sure you use lots of PB Blaster and let it sit for a while.

I'd also recommend some ratcheting wrenches. There are some tight spaces getting at some of the heat shield bolts and it's much better if you only have to get a wrench on there once instead of turning 1/8 of a turn, moving the wrench, turning another 1/8 of a turn, etc. I think 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm is all you'd need for that, maybe not even all 3 of those.

And be very careful with your O2 sensor. Lots of PB blaster and for every 1/2 turn you unscrew it, screw it back in a little, then start unscrewing it again. You really don't want to strip one of those out cause you have to replace the whole sensor and they're not cheap. And when you're reinstalling the sensor in the new downpipe, make sure you pre-twist the wires so they'll be straight when you get it screwed all the way in.

Good luck if you install it yourself. It's really not that bad.

I have heard that people have used a lot of PB blaster. How much did you go through?

In the past, I have tried to remove my secondary O2 sensor with no luck. The exhaust was warm and I went through half a can of PB blaster before I eventually gave up. Was there anything else I could have tried? My O2 sensors will be a bitch to get out. I wish Mazda put anti-seize on them from the get go....

I didn't go through that much because the car was still pretty new. My bolts came out pretty easily.

Thanks for the break down erod...you saved me some typing lol anyways RichB, I did the install myself. As Erod stated it takes some patience and quite a bit of PB blaster. It was my first time installing a DP on a speed3 and IMO it was not that bad. An extra set of hands would make it a little easier. No problems with the sensors, my car had 15,000 on the odometer when I installed it.
