A set of 4 of these from Tire Rack is $643 shipped, and if these are brand new never even mounted like it sounds like, I don't think he's asking too much if you're in the market for this particular tire. You're saving $40 on still brand new tires.

Just doing a quick google search you can get a lil wider ones for around $130 a pop...so just over $500...

speedo is effected by height not width

Yes, and 225/45/18 is taller than 215/45/18 and 225/40/18 is shorter. The width and aspect ratio affect the height of the tire.

i am suppose to run 215 or w.e and on my rims i have 225/55/18 i think its jus tmore aggresive

I'd rather sell these to someone on the CMZC needing an 18", 60k mile tire. I would have put them on my MS6 if it hadn't taken 8 months of backorder from Continental.
