Hey Roadrnr, you still have your cp-e fuel pump? It was posted for sale when you started putting everything up...did you sell it?

Roadrnr06 wrote:Dj what the hell! You only get paid once a month? LOL. MGS freak, this is actually on my speed 6 for pics visit my profile. It shouldn't be an issue with Mazda believe me I know. I put this on, and three days later had my turbo replaced through Mazda. They required pictures of my engine bay and everything. At the time I had the BOV, intake, and exhaust. DJ said he would buy it, and my mistake for not updating the post. If he doesn't in three weeks, consider it yours. Sorry for the confusion.

No prob. Thanks for the info. I'm asking for a friend from work that got a speed3. He talked to the dealership down here and they said that the blowoff valve would be a big no no if he wanted to keep his warranty, but I'll let him know what you said. Thanks.

That dealer is either full of it or they don't want customers. But yes, a BOV swap is easy for dealer trips.

^Dealer in question is geh! Lies. The bov does not harm the car if run in recirc.

It's Penkhus Mazda down here in the Springs. I also talked with the guy again and apparently he spent too much of his tip money now anyway and can't afford the BOV anymore. Also, he said it was one of the "old fogey" mechanics that said the BOV "would be frowned upon." The younger techs in there that understand our obsessions drool on his car when it comes in and wouldn't have a problem seeing that.
