Anyone know about a parts car?
I'm looking for a Gen 1 shell/part out in colorado that I can cut some chassis pieces from to help restore my SA22. Anyone know of one? Anywhere? I think any gen 1 will do, except maybe a late one. I am willing and able to pay and cut them myself. Thanks, OCD Herb.

I don't know of any parts car right now. I used to have one lol but it is long gone.
Depending on what section you need, you may need to stick with a 78-80 rx. The chassis on and 81-85 are the same. In 81 the added the bins and removed a brace that will be in you car below the panel behind the seats. If I remember right that is the only difference between the SAs and FBs but I could be wrong.
What exactly are you looking for?

The piece I need is welded inside the left rear wheel well. It's about 6 inches long with a 1 1/2" D-shaped hole on the back edge to allow for the front mounting bolt of the upper trailing arm. I think it's purpose is to strengthen the spot where the link mounts. In the '79 it also has a round threaded boss that was not used. I think it was there to mount the non-existent rear seat belt. Know where I can get one? Herb
