Found out the hard way: don't wash your foam buffing pads
I had the Lake Country CCS pads. Washed them religiously after using. D'oh. All of them eventually had the velcro separate from the pad. So...just a warning to those of you just starting out with buffing pads, don't wash 'em (at least with water). There are other methods to cleaning them.

Nope. That's how I did it too. Warm water, dish soap, by hand. They were decent pads...Lake Country CCS. I've since read that you don't need to clean the pads, but if you want to remove product from them, cover the buffing pad with a terry cloth and turn the DA on to clean while holding the cloth over the pad. No need to wash.

They get good reviews, and they perform well. Just don't wash them!
