I was trying to tell the story of your little red car to my father in law after trying to convince him we should build a merc. Your car is a Model A, right? What year?
You have done really great work on it so far.
The Miata is not too shabby either.
I did indeed notice the new crane...probably could have done an engine swap using that thing (looks at empty pockets
...looks at S
)

29 Ford "A" on 32 "Duece" rails. Sevice men returning from WWII called this the Jalopy. The lighter A body on the V8 chassis.
Built and installed the crane this past weekend. Should make the engine hoist almost obsolete.

I was thinking we might have been able to use it to lift the front of the 3 over the engine that died in it.
So "Jalopy" is an endearing term. Seems like I recall stories of it being less endearing of a term in the 70's.
