I actually think it looks pretty good. Like others have said, it would be better if the two sides connected, but I still like the look of the "buck tooth butt".

Looks good. Would it not be possible to continue it to the remaining black plastic? The veins would be smaller in that section, but at least the whole thing would have them.

ps. Eric your photoshop skilzz are fing awesome! I love seeing your chops!

That looks really sweet! If I had a 3D printer I'd print those up for you.

I agree though that you should extend them all the way through. Probably add 3 more in there.
